THE WHY's goal is to reach everyone, everywhere, with fact-based documentaries - and that includes online presence. That's why the most recent Youtube report, that shows that THE WHY's channel has grown 67% in three months, is a great incentive to the organisation in 2020.

By now, the whole channel has reached more than 11 million total views - of which almost 1 million refers to the last 90 days. This views are coming from countries all over the world. Despite the biggest portion of audience concentrating in the United States, the Top 10 countries list also has places like India, Philippines, Kenya, Australia, Germany and the United Arab Emirates.

Another important figure of the report shows that THE WHY’s films are for all ages. The viewers list counts with big portions of people from 18 to more than 65 years old. To dig deep into the numbers and its meanings, download our full February 2020 Youtube report here.

The great numbers are a result of THE WHY's recent efforts in allocating work-time to the channel. "We've realised that our channel required some manpower to really grow and get visibility. That’s when more and more people started subscribing”, says THE WHY's CEO Mette Hoffmann Meyer. According to Mette, this year's plan is to keep updating the platform as much as possible, and the special highlight is the Film of the Month project. The initiative makes available for one month only, one film of the WHY STORIES collection. This is a way of continue to show some of the great films on the catalog.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
